Our Story
Ivy League Tutoring (ILT) was known as Chicagoland’s highest-quality one-on-one tutoring agency. It thrived for nearly 40 years, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, when it successfully transitioned to 100% virtual tutoring. After the founder’s passing in 2023, long-time professional tutor and expected ILT co-owner Ted Johnson saw the demand for exceptional tutoring services persist. He established Find My Tutor to maintain the connections between those seeking ILT’s services and its former tutors.
Our Mission
We strive to connect those seeking high-quality tutoring with former Ivy League Tutoring (ILT) tutors, and their equivalents, across Chicagoland and the United States, while maintaining affordable rates. Our goal is to make available the same tutoring program that Ivy League Tutoring once had, including an optional thorough initial test of all incoming students, and an emphasis on mastery of foundational material such as math facts. We believe that education is the cornerstone of building a successful and fulfilling life.
